Hannah is a specialist succession and personal tax planning lawyer whose clients include domestic and international individuals, families, trustees and family offices.
Hannah provides tax efficient and estate planning solutions, with a particular focus on international families with a presence in the UK, or who are investing into or relocating to the UK. Her key specialism is UK real estate ownership for international families and investors, where she provides inheritance tax and other personal tax mitigation advice for real estate investment to the UK and for existing ownership structures.
Angela is Head of Collas Crill Guernsey' multi-award winning International Private
Client and Trusts Department since 2012- now one of the largest teams of its type in
Guernsey and ranked Tier 1 by E-Private Client.
Angela's core strengths are in establishing, reorganising and winding up Guernsey
trust and foundation structures (including pension and gratuity schemes) and also
assisting trustees in navigating the administration of those structures in accordance
with their fiduciary duties. returns.
Jerry Mills is a Senior Portfolio Manager working within the Melville Douglas International (MDI) portfolio team in Jersey. MDI is the boutique investment management arm of Standard Bank Group. Jerry travels frequently to Southern Africa where he looks after a portfolio of (U)HNW clients and families. He is also the lead portfolio manager for the MDI Diversified Offshore Shari’ah Investment Portfolio which was launched in 2022.
Patricia has over 20 years of experience providing tax return and consultation services for both Individual US Federal and State taxes, for US resident and US non-resident individuals. She assists clients in getting up-to-date with their US tax returns under US Voluntary Disclosure Programs by filing past-due years. Patricia also helps clients to relinquish their US citizenship or Green Card and provides tax planning and consultation on various other US tax issues.
Having started her career as one of the first women to work in the London Stock Exchange, Zoë has 30+ years' experience in wealth management, as well as several years' experience as a Non-Executive Director, Charity Chair & Treasury Committee Member. In 2015 she relocated to Dubai to establish her investment company, working with families & fiduciaries to oversee their portfolios. She travelled extensively around the GCC region as the first Middle East Representative for Guernsey Finance, and founded the Women’s Investment Network to inspire women to become more engaged with their finances. Zoë also works with female founders in the UAE and UK to help them with early stage financial management & capital raising. She is a regular speaker at international events such as the Wealth Arabia Summit, and she has been published & interviewed in a range of media.
Khalid is an international attorney licensed to practice in New York, Washington D.C., and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Khalid currently manages his law firm, the Law Office of Khalid R. Kamal. Khalid also serves as partner in Kaltaire, a boutique investment firm.
Prior to launching his own law firm, Khalid was a member of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, a leading U.S. firm with global offices. At Pillsbury, Khalid worked with several teams; the International Trade Group, Energy Group, Public Practices and National Security Group, and the Private Wealth Group. Khalid has experience in advising both government entities and major corporations on issues related to; structuring, governance, transactions, development and strategy. Khalid has also participated in congressional hearings in the U.S. Khalid has served as independent counsel on high-level investigations. Khalid also has experience in leading teams on negotiating complex transactions, crisis management, and strategic acquisitions.
Shahrzad re-joined Child & Child in January 2021 after 15 months as a Managing Director with Alvarium Investments.
Shahrzad originally joined Child & Child in 2015, when she founded and headed the Middle East desk. She was legal counsel to many HNW and UHNW families/entrepreneurs as well as multi-jurisdictional companies and several governments. She focused on banking finance and regulations, cross border transactions, corporate/commercial, property finance (including sharia finance), financial sanctions on Iran, structuring, private wealth, immigration, dispute resolution and international transactions. She was also head of the legal team within a Kuwaiti family office, worked for a city firm in London and prior to that spent six years with Atai & Associates working on international corporate law, oil and gas, telecommunications matters for UHNW business owners.
As a wealth management specialist Ken has worked in senior roles with a number of leading financial services organisations over the last 30 years in the UK and elsewhere this includes Merrill Lynch International Bank, Credit Suisse Private Bank, Bank of Singapore and EFG Private Bank in Mayfair, London.
Ken works with families and individuals helping them to structure efficiently and in line with their long term objectives.
